Pease Elementary is a Candidate School* for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Pease believes is important for our students. 

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Pease Elementary is in the process of applying for candidacy for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).  The IB PYP is a globally recognized framework that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in EVERY child. Students engage in inquiry-based learning, exploring real-world issues while developing strong academic skills. The PYP encourages international-mindedness and the development of the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
